Portable Audio Speakers
Portable Audio Speakers are designed with several purposes. These include portability, durability and practicality. A good set of speakers will fulfill every one of these, but many don’t. For example, it’s not uncommon to get a set of Portable Audio Speakers that have no case, and have to be carried separately. The whole idea of a portable setup is that it makes your life easier without having to run cables everywhere. However, if you have to individually package your speakers then you will more than likely end up damaging them.
Good speakers are set up so that you can charge the batteries with mains power as well as run them off the batteries. This means that when you are not near mains power (such as outdoor events etc) you are able to still have a high quality sound without worrying about running leads everywhere. Again, the whole idea of a Portable set up is so that time wasting is reduced. I love Portable Audio Speakers that are built into a case. Such examples include the Ifusion Portable Speaker, which simply opens up to provide dual speakers, an iPod dock and various other helpful accessories to ensure that life is easy. A manufacturer who has truly put the effort into building a good set of speakers will make sure that they are easy to use; that the sound is good quality and that they last.
The problem of not having quality packaging or a small case that the speakers come from is that they get knocked and dented easily. Even having speakers that are not protected with mesh or some other form of covering is a problem; one little sharp object anywhere near the speaker and you have to throw the whole lot out. I often like to look at those who have created products which are a little out of the ordinary; those who have gone the extra mile to ensure that the customer gets exactly what they want, and more. Apple seems to do this very regularly with their products, which is great to see!
There is a huge range of Portable Audio Speakers on the market. Logitech make them, Macally make them, Isound make them, Ifusion make them and so do hundreds of other manufacturers. I find that by looking online at specific reviews you will always get a good idea of what works and what doesn’t. Find something that has a lot of comments on it, and make sure that they are positive comments. Read through them too, as you will be very surprised at the detail that many of them go into. You will find specific things that you don’t like, and many of the people leaving comments will say things that will help you in making the best decision. For example, it’s easy for a consumer to identify little issues which they don’t like, and writing about them on a review site helps other consumers making a decision.
As a general rule if you want a good product then you should stick with the brands that you know are high quality. Again though, don’t rely entirely on this. Make sure that the Portable Audio Speakers that they are selling are good, right down to the specific model. It wouldn’t be the first lemon model that even massive companies have made. If you want a control to compare off, consider the Logitech Portable Speakers.
